The Sonnet Tempo SATA Pro ExpressCard/34 is a professional dual port eSATA host controller designed to add high performance external SATA connectivity to compatible notebook computers equipped with an ExpressCard slot. Featuring two external eSATA ports, the Tempo SATA Pro supports sustained data transfer throughput of up to 200 MB/s and is designed for high performance external storage, multi drive arrays, video editing and other data intensive applications. Its port multiplier support allows compatible multi drive storage systems to connect multiple SATA drives through a single eSATA connection. With compatible enclosures or hardware RAID systems, the card can support up to 10 drives five per port.
