The NETUM NT-2050 is a hands free countertop barcode scanner made for checkout counters, front desks, libraries and event check in. Its high resolution imager reads standard 1D barcodes plus 2D codes like QR codes, Data Matrix and PDF417 from any angle, on printed labels or right off a phone screen. Just hold the item or phone under the scanner and it reads automatically, leaving both hands free. It plugs into a computer by USB, needs no separate power, and works like a keyboard, so it runs with most software without extra setup. It also handles bright light up to 100,000 lux, so it works well near windows.
