The Baracoda orKan BOK-LA is a rugged handheld Bluetooth laser scanner built for inventory, warehouse and field work. A built in OLED screen and three navigation buttons let you see what you scanned and work right from the scanner. It connects to a PC or Mac by Bluetooth Class 1 for long range, and offline batch mode stores scans when you are out of range, then sends them later so no data is lost. The laser reads up to 104 scans per second, the removable battery recharges in about 6 hours, and the IP54 housing handles dust, splashes and multiple drops from about 6.5 feet. This is a 1D scanner; it reads standard linear barcodes like UPC and Code 128, but it cannot read QR codes or other 2D codes.
