The Code CR2701 is a cordless Bluetooth 2D barcode scanner from Code's CR2700 series, built for healthcare, retail and busy front desk work. Its 2D imager reads both 1D and 2D barcodes from any direction, so there is no need to line up the code. The scanner connects by Bluetooth to the included CRA-A271 charging station, which plugs into your computer by USB and works like a keyboard, so it runs with most existing software without extra setup. Just set the scanner in the cradle to charge; there are no contacts to wear out. The IP65 sealed housing resists dust and water, and a built in power gauge shows the battery level.
