The Cisco CP-8851 Multiplatform 3PCC is a premium, enterprise-grade VoIP phone engineered explicitly for open SIP environments. Unlike standard Cisco Enterprise phones that require Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), the 3PCC (3rd Party Call Control) version features Multiplatform Phone (MPP) firmware. This firmware enables it to natively register with popular cloud-hosted UCaaS platforms such as RingCentral, Zoom Phone, Nextiva, 8x8, Vonage, and Asterisk.
