The Cisco CP-8831 Unified IP Conference Phone is a speakerphone for small to medium conference rooms, with a separate dial pad controller that sits in front of the user. Four built in microphones pick up voices around the table, and the base supports optional wired or wireless extension microphones for larger rooms. It powers over the network through PoE or with a Cisco power cube. This model is designed for Cisco call control systems such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager and does not work with most third party VoIP services without Cisco multiplatform firmware.
